Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Government wrapped up its participation at GITEX Global 2024 with a series of strategic signings, including three important memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with major tech companies, aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority (ADCDA). According to Emirates News Agency, on the final day of GITEX, the ADCDA entered into a partnership with The Arabic Vision Information Systems to bolster its technological infrastructure. This MoU will provide the ADCDA with high-performance workstations, enhanced screens, advanced network infrastructure, and modern sound systems. A key feature of this collaboration is the implementation of an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system and advanced surveillance systems, which are expected to improve vehicle identification and ensure effective communication during emergencies. Another significant MoU was signed with Color Works Computer, which will handle maintenance and hardware repair services for the ADCDA. Th is agreement ensures that the ADCDA's operations are maintained with minimal interruptions, thanks to routine and on-demand support, including the provision of necessary materials and a dedicated team of technicians for regular inspections and repairs. The third MoU, signed with United Security Group, focuses on the maintenance of network cabling and connectivity to guarantee the reliability and functionality of communication networks. This partnership includes routine maintenance and prompt repairs, carried out by a specialized team of engineers who will conduct regular inspections and address any technical issues to maintain operational continuity. The event concluded with a thank-you ceremony by the Abu Dhabi Government, recognizing the contributions of over thirty government entities and partners. Throughout the week at the Dubai World Trade Centre, these entities showcased innovative AI-enabled platforms like TAMM 3.0, the Sahatna app, and the Tomouh learning platform. These strategic partnerships and demonstrations underline the Abu Dhabi Government's commitment to advancing digital governance and improving the accessibility and efficiency of public services.
