Abu dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Police, led by Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi, Abu Dhabi Police Commander-in-Chief, has implemented the Artificial Intelligence Readiness initiative 'AI READY' aimed for 2026. The initiative was launched in collaboration with strategic partners including the Advanced Technology Research Council and Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence. It aligns with the strategic priority of 'Institutional Efficiency and Resilience' and aims to establish a police ecosystem driven by artificial intelligence and data.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Commander-in-Chief emphasized that this initiative reflects the directives of the wise leadership and their vision for the future. It seeks to accelerate the transformation towards smart government work models supported by autonomous artificial intelligence technologies.
The initiative aims to improve institutional performance efficiency and the quality of government services. By empowering institutional cadres to integrate artificial intelligence applications into various policing operations, it contributes to the development of institutional work systems. It also aims to promote a culture of innovation and leadership, while fostering future foresight.
