ADI Foundation and Tokinvest Partner on $100 Million Tokenised Sukuk Initiative

Dubai:ADI Foundation and Tokinvest have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore new opportunities in real-world asset tokenisation, digital asset issuance, and blockchain-based settlement. This collaboration aims to leverage their complementary strengths in asset origination, technology, and financial-market capabilities.

According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership will integrate ADI Foundation's Real World Asset Tokenisation pipeline and institutional blockchain infrastructure with Tokinvest's regulated structuring, issuance, and investor onboarding capabilities. This framework will help identify and develop new tokenised investment opportunities across various asset classes.

Tokinvest, a digital investment platform regulated by VARA and based in Dubai, focuses on expanding access to alternative investment opportunities through tokenisation. The company has experience with products such as Franklin Templeton's tokenised money market fund and Luxembourg-issued private-credit digital bonds.

ADI Foundation operates ADI Chain, a blockchain infrastructure that supports the issuance and settlement of digital assets, including tokenised real-world assets. The collaboration's primary target is a $100 million tokenised Sukuk, which involves tokenising existing Sukuk from UAE issuers for distribution through regulated partnerships.

The partnership will explore tokenising a broad range of real-world assets, such as private credit and funds, to create regulated digital investment products. These products are designed to broaden investor access and open new capital channels, bringing Tokinvest's existing products to ADI Chain through regulated structures.

Ramana Kumar, ADI Foundation's President of Stablecoin Ecosystem, emphasized the importance of combining asset origination, regulated issuance, and investor access. He noted that Tokinvest provides strong structuring and distribution capabilities, while ADI supplies the asset pipeline and blockchain infrastructure.

Scott Thiel, CEO of Tokinvest, highlighted the collaboration's focus on bridging regulated digital investment infrastructure with institutional blockchain technology. The objective is to identify opportunities for real-world assets to enter digital investment markets.

The agreement establishes a structure for both parties to identify and evaluate potential opportunities and advance selected initiatives toward development. This aligns with ADI Foundation's strategy to connect regulated digital assets with global economic activity.
