ADJD Introduces AI-Powered Notary and Attestation Services Platform

Abu dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has recently unveiled a new digital platform that leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to facilitate notary transactions and attestations. The platform offers approved templates and forms for powers of attorney, declarations, and contracts, allowing for the instant approval of these transactions. According to Emirates News Agency, Counselor Yousef Said Al Abri, Undersecretary of the ADJD, stated that this digital initiative aligns with the directives of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of ADJD. The aim is to enhance the efficiency of the judicial system by integrating modern technologies, thus elevating the quality of services to meet international standards and improve the competitive stance of Abu Dhabi. Counselor Al Abri emphasized that the introduction of this AI-driven platform marks a significant advancement in the judicial sector, streamlining the process of notary services and authentications. The platform facilitates user applications through electronic channels, significantly reducing the time required to process various legal documents, thereby enriching user experience with interactive and innovative services. The platform simplifies the authentication process by eliminating unnecessary steps and minimizing required inputs after users register with the UAE Pass. It is particularly beneficial for handling transactions related to property, vehicles, commercial licenses, and legal cases within Abu Dhabi. Additionally, the platform replaces manual signatures with digital authentication via the UAE Pass and the Government Data Interchange Platform, further streamlining the documentation process. It also supports visual communication technologies for transactions that necessitate a visit to the notary public office, and automatically issues and sends electronically approved transactions.
