ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has introduced a new identity for the patrols of its correctional and rehabilitation centres, aligning with strategic directions and future development plans for the facilities. This initiative is part of an effort to meet evolving needs and adhere to the highest international standards. According to Emirates News Agency, the new identity was officially launched at a ceremony held at the Judicial Department's main headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The event was attended by Counsellor Youssef Saeed Al-Abri, Under-Secretary of the Judicial Department, along with executive directors and department heads. Counsellor Al Abri emphasized that the updated patrol design represents an ongoing commitment to development across various sectors of the Judicial Department. This effort aligns with the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aimed at enhancing Abu Dhabi's global comp etitiveness in service quality. The Judicial Department is focusing on developing the Correctional and Rehabilitation Centres Sector to achieve goals related to security and safety for both inmates and specialized staff. Emphasis is placed on adopting systems and programmes that reflect current advancements and best practices. Counsellor Al Abri also highlighted the commitment of the centres to maintain operations aligned with the highest standards in inmate care, rehabilitation, and reform. These efforts are supported by government initiatives to elevate service levels, supporting the reintegration of inmates into society.
