Abu Dhabi: The Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) and GLOBSEC Forum have formalized a strategic partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding, appointing AGDA as the Main Institutional Partner from 2025 to 2027.

According to Emirates News Agency, the MoU was signed by AGDA's Director-General Nickolay Mladenov and GLOBSEC's Founder and President R³bert Vass. The GLOBSEC Forum, an annual European platform, gathers global leaders, policymakers, and experts to deliberate on pressing issues such as security, economic development, climate change, and technology. The 2025 forum is set to take place from June 12th to 14th in Prague, Czech Republic, offering a venue for strategic policy discussions.

As a part of this agreement, AGDA will actively shape the GLOBSEC agenda over the next three years by engaging in main programs, advising on key themes and speakers, co-hosting side events, and facilitating bilateral meetings and media interactions.

Highlighting AGDA's significant role in international diplomacy, Nickolay Mladenov expressed that the UAE has consistently promoted multilateral dialogue and effective diplomacy. This partnership with GLOBSEC aims to amplify voices from the region and contribute positively to global policymaking, emphasizing the importance of trust and coordinated action.

President R³bert Vass noted that AGDA's involvement adds a strategic layer to the GLOBSEC Forum. He pointed out the UAE's expertise in areas like conflict mediation, food security, and climate diplomacy, which offers a progressive approach to global governance. The collaboration seeks to introduce new perspectives and foster connections between regions often considered in isolation.

This partnership underscores a mutual dedication to advancing global dialogue and sustainable solutions, reinforcing the UAE's commitment to multilateralism and peaceful cooperation as part of its active international diplomatic efforts.
