AI Firm Senen Announces Expansion into MENA from Dubai

Dubai: Senen, a global artificial intelligence company active in North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom, has announced its intention to expand into the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, starting from the Emirate of Dubai. This move positions Dubai as a regional and global hub for innovation in artificial intelligence and big data technologies.

According to Emirates News Agency, Ronnie Sheth, CEO of Senen, stated during the Dubai AI and Web3 Festival that the decision to choose Dubai stems from the company’s recognition of the emirate’s pioneering role in innovation. She noted that the UAE is currently leading the global scene in terms of AI-related policy and regulatory frameworks, even surpassing leading countries such as the United States and Canada in some aspects.

She added, “We are currently exploring expansion opportunities through collaboration with local partners such as the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and we aim to deliver significant value to the innovation ecosystem in the UAE.”

She emphasised that this move is not merely an expansion but the beginning of a long-term journey rooted in Dubai.

Sheth added, “Dubai today represents an ideal environment for expansion, and we are proud to be one of the sponsors of the Dubai AI and Web3 Festival. We believe that the UAE is not only leading the Middle East, but also leaving its mark in Asia and Africa, thanks to its progressive approach in developing the legislative and technical framework related to AI.”

She noted that the company hopes to open an office in the UAE later this year, affirming that this expansion is a natural response to the maturity of the country’s legislative environment and digital infrastructure.
