Ajman: The Department of Finance in Ajman has unveiled its new cloud-based "Smart Financial Planning System" at the GITEX Global 2024 event, a move set to transform how government budget management operates within the Emirate. According to Emirates News Agency, the Smart Financial Planning System, developed in collaboration with Oracle, represents a significant technological advancement in government financial management. Sahar Al Tuniji, the Director of Financial Applications at the Department of Finance, detailed that the new system will streamline the entire budget lifecycle, from strategic planning to execution, enhancing both efficiency and effectiveness. The system utilizes Oracle's EPM Cloud platform, integrated with advanced artificial intelligence technologies. It is capable of analyzing extensive datasets, including macroeconomic indicators, to produce precise financial forecasts. These forecasts will assist government agencies in Ajman in making well-informed decisions, predicting revenue flows a nd expenditure trends up to a decade in advance.
