AMMAN: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, on Wednesday discussed with the Indian Ambassador to Jordan, Manish Chauhan, bilateral relations and aspects of joint cooperation to serve interests of the two friendly countries' armed forces. According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening the military ties between Jordan and India. The discussions also touched upon the latest developments on the regional and international arenas, where both sides stressed the need to orchestrate international efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region. Meanwhile, Chauhan emphasized Jordan's "pivotal and important" role in establishing international security and peace, especially amid the current circumstances facing the region. The dialogue reflects ongoing efforts to enhance strategic partnerships and mutual interests in defense and security domains, highlighting the commitment of both nations to maintain regional peace.
