Army Chief Discusses Defense Cooperation with British Military Leader in Jordan

Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, on Wednesday received a British military delegation headed by the UK Commander Joint Operations (CJO), Lt. Gen. Charlie Stickland. The meeting focused on strengthening military ties and cooperation between Jordan and the United Kingdom. According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions between Huneiti and Stickland covered the latest developments on the regional and international arenas, and explored aspects of joint military cooperation and coordination. The talks aimed at enhancing bilateral relations to serve the interests of the two nations' armed forces. Stickland commended the level of development and modernization in the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF), highlighting the deep-rooted and strong ties between the two armies. He emphasized that these relationships contribute significantly to achieving security and stability in the region.
