Baniyas Jiu-Jitsu Club Clinches Top Spot in Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Championship

Abu dhabi: The fourth round of the Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship concluded at Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City, with Baniyas Jiu-Jitsu Club securing first place in the overall rankings. The final day featured competitions in the Kids and Under-12 divisions in the Gi category, drawing strong participation from young athletes and enthusiastic support from families and fans.

According to Emirates News Agency, Al Jazira Jiu-Jitsu Club finished second, while Al Ain Jiu-Jitsu Club took third place. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed and Abdulmunem Alsayed Mohammed Alhashmi, highlighting the event's significance and the support from the UAE leadership.

Mohamed Humaid Hamad Dalmouj Aldhaheri, Board Member of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, emphasized the championship's role in empowering individuals and nurturing future generations through sport. He noted the leadership's commitment to doubling the prize pool, which inspires the jiu-jitsu community and promotes values like discipline and respect.

Maysarah Mahmoud Eid, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre, remarked on the championship's ability to bring together elite organizations and invest in the nation's youth. The event is seen as a platform that builds character and discipline, supported by visionary leadership.

Parents of young athletes also shared their perspectives, with Hamad Nasseeb Al Ahbabi and Diana Nurislamova highlighting the transformative impact of jiu-jitsu on their children's lives.
