AMMAN: Capital Bank Group has reported a substantial 34% increase in its net profits from regular operations, reaching nearly JOD110 million by the end of September 2024. This marks a significant rise from the JOD82 million recorded during the same period last year, highlighting the bank's robust financial performance. According to Jordan News Agency, the group's net income also saw a notable 23% growth, climbing to nearly JOD302 million compared to JOD245 million for the same period the previous year. This financial surge is accompanied by a 4% increase in net credit facilities granted to customers, which rose to JOD3.6 billion by the end of the third quarter, up from JOD3.4 billion at the end of last year. Further contributing to the bank's strong financial results, net interest income increased by 25%, reaching JOD159.3 million by the end of last September, compared to JOD127.6 million in the same period last year. Basem Salem, Chairperson of Capital Bank Group, attributed this performance to the succe ssful implementation of strategic initiatives focused on enhancing financial sustainability and expanding regional business operations.
