Capital Group Secures Regulatory Approval for Abu Dhabi Operations

Abu Dhabi:Capital Group, a leading global investment manager, has obtained a Financial Services Permission from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). This approval allows the firm to conduct trading, investment management, and distribution activities as a regulated investment manager within the ADGM.

According to Emirates News Agency, this regulatory milestone is part of Capital Group's ongoing commitment to the Middle East, following its announcement in May 2026 to establish its first office in the region in Abu Dhabi. The firm has been relocating staff from North America, Europe, and Asia to enhance its investment, operational, and client-facing expertise in the region, with plans for further local expansion to meet business and client needs.
