TAIYUAN: China launched the Tianping-3 satellite into space from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Centre in Shanxi Province, marking another step in its ambitious space program. The satellite was carried into orbit by a Long March-6 rocket at 8:10 a.m. Beijing Time and has successfully reached its designated orbit. According to Emirates News Agency, the Tianping-3 satellite is designed to provide critical services including atmospheric space environment surveys and improvements in orbital prediction models.
