Dubai:Dubai has opened applications for a unique job role called 'Future Perfects' at the Museum of the Future. This innovative talent search aims to recruit individuals who will play a crucial role in enhancing the visitor experience at the museum.
According to Wam, the Museum of the Future is seeking candidates with imagination, curiosity, emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, and adaptability. Those selected will join the museum in full-time positions, helping to develop a new visitor experience as the museum prepares to reopen in 2027.
The recruitment process is designed to identify qualities not typically evident on a CV, such as curiosity and imagination. Candidates will participate in live assessments, and those shortlisted will move on to final auditions before an expert judging panel.
A 'Future Perfect' is envisioned as both a guide and a storyteller, responsible for making visitors feel welcome, sparking curiosity, and translating complex ideas into engaging conversations suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds. The museum is looking for candidates who are natural communicators, attentive listeners, and confident problem-solvers. Previous experience in museums or customer service is not required.
Successful candidates will join the museum's Visitor Experience team full-time starting in November 2026 and will be tasked with engaging visitors from around the world in meaningful conversations about science, technology, nature, society, and the future.
Azza AlNuaimi, COO of Museum of the Future, emphasized Dubai's global position of recognizing possibilities before they become obvious. She stated that the museum reflects a mindset of shaping the future through human curiosity, imagination, and connection, qualities that are not easily measured by conventional means.
Applications for the 'Future Perfects' role are open until November 8, 2026. The selection process will include online applications, live assessments, shortlisting, and a final casting day featuring live auditions. Throughout the process, candidates will be evaluated on their communication skills, adaptability, and ability to connect with others.
The museum invites the public to nominate individuals they believe would excel as Future Perfects through its social media channels. Since its opening in 2022, the Museum of the Future has welcomed over five million visitors worldwide, representing more than 180 nationalities.
