Ras Al Khaimah: Egypt will host an emergency Arab summit on February 27 to address what it has described as ‘serious’ developments concerning the Palestinian cause, as announced by the Egyptian foreign ministry on Sunday.
According to Emirates News Agency, the decision to hold this summit follows extensive high-level consultations with various Arab leaders, including representatives from the State of Palestine, which initially requested the meeting.
The Egyptian foreign ministry further noted that the decision to convene the summit was made in coordination with Bahrain, which currently holds the presidency of the Arab Summit, as well as the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.
