ABU DHABI: The Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) announced the 23rd edition of its annual "Clean UAE" campaign, set to commence on December 5 under the auspices of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment. This year's campaign will traverse all seven emirates, starting in Ajman and concluding in Umm Al Quwain, with a series of events aimed at fostering environmental sustainability and community engagement. According to Emirates News Agency, the "Clean UAE" campaign offers a platform for sponsors, public and private sector entities, academic institutions, and individuals to actively participate in environmental conservation efforts. Habiba Al Mar'ashi, Founder and Chairperson of EEG, emphasized the campaign's role in enhancing the culture of preserving natural habitats, promoting recycling, and encouraging the use of recyclable materials in local industries. This initiative not only aims to reduce the burden on natural resources but also seeks to lower carbon dioxide emissions. The campaign schedule i s as follows: it begins in Ajman on December 5, Dubai on December 7, Abu Dhabi on December 9, Sharjah on December 10, Fujairah on December 11, Ras Al Khaimah on December 12, and finally, Umm Al Quwain on December 14. Al Mar'ashi has called upon all community segments to engage in this national endeavor to protect and preserve the environment. The EEG's initiative provides an opportunity for companies to align with sustainability goals through sponsorship that offers branding, media exposure, and participation in tree planting and cleanup events.
