Emirates Projects Surge in Passenger Traffic for Eid Al Fitr Holiday

Dubai: Emirates anticipates busy weekends ahead of and during the Eid Al Fitr holiday, with heavy traveller volumes departing from and arriving in Dubai. The airline has forecasted a significant increase in passenger traffic, particularly in Terminal 3.

According to Emirates News Agency, the busiest time for departures in Terminal 3 will be on 28th and 29th March, and on 5th and 6th April. During these days, more than 80,000 daily customers are expected to make their way abroad for their spring break holidays. This surge in travellers is set to create a bustling atmosphere at the airport.

Emirates has issued a notice urging customers departing from Dubai to prepare for traffic congestion around Terminal 3 entrances. To avoid potential delays, passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys to the airport. The airline recommends that passengers arrive at the airport up to 3 hours before their flight and remain aware of their boarding times to ensure timely arrival at the departure gate.
