Abu dhabi: European stock indices closed mixed at the end of Wednesday's trading session: The pan-European Stoxx 600 index fell 0.01% to 656.41 points, while Germany's DAX index rose 0.19%.

According to Emirates News Agency, the UK's FTSE index dropped 0.07%, whereas France's CAC index rose 0.27%.
