Formula 2 Driver Escapes Unhurt from Crash Ahead of Spanish Grand Prix

Madring: Thai Formula 2 driver Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak escaped unhurt from a major crash ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix at the new MADRING circuit. Inthraphuvasak lost control of his car and spun before hitting the barriers at Turn 19 early in the Formula 2 free practice session.

According to Emirates News Agency, the impact caused the car to catch fire, but Inthraphuvasak climbed out of the cockpit unaided and was not injured.
