GPSSA Set to Launch “Ma’ashi” Platform for Enhanced Pension and Insurance Management

ABU DHABI: The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) is gearing up for the official launch of its "Ma'ashi" platform, which will provide comprehensive digital solutions for managing insurance and pension services. This initiative is set to revolutionize the way employers, insured individuals, and beneficiaries interact with GPSSA services. According to Emirates News Agency, the announcement was made as the GITEX 2024 Exhibition concluded today. The Ma'ashi platform, scheduled to go live on October 28, 2024, is part of GPSSA's broader strategy to offer proactive and user-friendly digital solutions. The platform is designed to allow users to manage their accounts effortlessly, enabling them to monitor contribution rates, monthly payments, employment years, and calculate pension rates or end-of-service gratuities. Dr. Maysa Rashed Ghadeer, Director of the Government Communications Office at GPSSA, emphasized the transformative potential of the Ma'ashi platform. She noted that it not only simpli fies account management for over 144,000 insured individuals and supports more than 48,000 pensioners and beneficiaries but also enhances service efficiency through an AI-based chatbot. This chatbot automates customer service processes, significantly speeding up response times and improving overall service quality. Furthermore, Dr. Ghadeer highlighted that the Ma'ashi platform plays a critical role in safeguarding users' rights. It addresses key issues such as insurance evasion and registration discrepancies, and provides necessary support to the insured in case of reassignment within different systems in the UAE.
