ABU DHABI: The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) has introduced Ma'ashi, a new digital pension platform aimed at streamlining services for employers, insured Emiratis, pensioners, and beneficiaries. This initiative represents a significant step in the UAE's digital transformation strategy, in line with the 2022 UAE performance agreements for federal entities. According to Emirates News Agency, Ma'ashi is part of a broader effort by the UAE government to improve digital service delivery. The platform supports the UAE's 'We are the UAE 2031' vision, which seeks to enhance customer service experiences over the next decade. By enabling users to independently access services with a digital identity, the platform aims to increase customer satisfaction and facilitate seamless interactions between stakeholders and the GPSSA. The Ma'ashi platform offers round-the-clock access to GPSSA services, allowing employers to interact digitally with insured members, review and approve data and requests, an d receive proactive notifications for required actions. This system also enables employers to monitor the status of services or requests submitted to the GPSSA. For insured civilians and military personnel, Ma'ashi provides the capability to independently request services such as end-of-service requests and employment period adjustments. Additionally, the platform aids in proactive financial planning, allowing users to make informed retirement decisions by accessing comprehensive insurance benefit information. Agents and guardians can also utilize the platform to manage services on behalf of elderly or minor insured members, ensuring privacy and confidentiality while maintaining flexibility and transparency in service access. The platform's features include tracking contributions, obtaining financial reports, and ensuring timely payment of contributions. The introduction of Ma'ashi underscores GPSSA's commitment to enhancing partnerships with stakeholders and increasing insurance awareness among all partie s involved.
