BEIRUT: Hezbollah Media Relations Officer Mohammad Afif announced that the organization has taken full and exclusive responsibility for a drone attack on the residence of Benjamin Netanyahu in Caesarea. The announcement was made during a press conference held in Beirut's Dahiyeh area, where Afif declared that the Islamic Resistance is actively pursuing Netanyahu and underscored the group's operational capabilities. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Afif stated that Hezbollah's supply lines have returned to normal, and their command and control systems are functioning optimally. He also highlighted the group's sufficient human and military capabilities to meet battle requirements, noting a steady increase in Hezbollah's attacks. Additionally, Afif reported significant losses for Israeli forces, particularly in the confrontations at Aita Al-Shaab, while asserting that Hezbollah continues to target Israeli military sites as the enemy targets civilians. Afif criticized the media bias of outlets like MBC and suggested that Israeli Channel 12 could have produced a fairer report on the martyr Yahya Sinwar. He praised the Iraqi public's actions against MBC's office and urged similar measures in Lebanon. Afif insisted that freedom of media should not allow provocation against civilians and institutions such as the Al-Qard Al-Hasan Association, which he described as a civil entity committed to supporting depositors and beneficiaries. Hezbollah's officer accused the United States of being a full partner in the Zionist aggression against Lebanon, supplying Israel with weapons and holding primary responsibility for the conflict's casualties. In response to threats from the Israeli defense minister, Afif vowed retaliation with "fire for fire, blood for blood, and iron for iron." He also emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of Islamic Resistance prisoners, calling on the International Red Cross to verify Israeli compliance with this standard. Afif disclosed that Hezbollah fighters were close to captur ing Israeli soldiers recently, with the intention of negotiating an indirect swap deal after the war. Concluding his remarks, Afif condemned the Israeli attacks as manifestations of a destructive intent and criticized the German Foreign Minister's comments that justified these actions against civilians.
