DUBAI: The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) has unveiled a new initiative, "Lammt al-Freij," aimed at fostering entrepreneurship among Emirati women. This program seeks to utilize IACAD's centers across Dubai to create a supportive environment for female entrepreneurs, facilitating their business endeavors and contributing to their economic success. According to Emirates News Agency, "Lammt al-Freij," which translates to "Neighbourhood Gathering," is designed to leverage the capabilities of youth projects by providing necessary support and creating a conducive environment for Emirati women to develop their projects. The initiative will operate at the Umm al-Sheif Islamic Cultural Centre and the Al-Mizhar Islamic Cultural Center from Monday to Thursday, 08:00 to 20:00. Sheikha Sultan Al Marri, Director of the Islamic Knowledge Programs Department, emphasized that this initiative aligns with IACAD's strategic vision to enhance its social role by empowering female entrepreneurs and providing them opportunities for growth. The environment at the centers will offer comfort and support, increasing their projects' impact within the community and facilitating interactions with new audiences to enhance sales and success across various fields.
