Beirut: The Islamic Resistance has claimed responsibility for a series of coordinated attacks targeting several Israeli military sites. In a series of statements, the group announced that it had launched missile salvos and drone strikes on various military installations, including the Shraga base, Zar'it barracks, Hanita settlement, Yaa'roun barracks, and Dovev barracks. According to National news agency - Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance issued multiple statements detailing the attacks. In statement 18, the group reported targeting the Shraga base with a drone at 06:00 on Tuesday morning, October 29, 2024, claiming an accurate hit. This was followed by statement 19, which announced a rocket salvo attack on the Zar'it barracks at 3:30 p.m. on the same day. Further attacks were reported in statements 20 and 21. The Islamic Resistance claimed responsibility for a missile salvo targeting a gathering of Israeli forces in the Hanita settlement at 4:30 p.m., as well as an attack on the Yaroun barracks at 03:00 p.m . The group reiterated its support for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, citing defense of Lebanon and its people as part of its motives. In statement 22, the Islamic Resistance revealed that its fighters targeted Israeli soldiers at the Dovev barracks with a missile salvo at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The series of attacks are said to be in support of Palestinian resistance efforts and in defense of Lebanon.
