Israeli Air Raids in Lebanon Result in Seven Fatalities

BEIRUT: Seven individuals were killed as a result of Israeli air raids across various regions in Lebanon, according to Lebanese security sources. Among the deceased were two individuals who perished in an Israeli drone attack on their vehicle on the Jounieh highway, located east of Beirut. According to Jordan News Agency, the ongoing air raids by Israeli forces targeted several areas in southern Lebanon. In the town of Zefta, three people were killed, and one individual sustained injuries. Additionally, three people were wounded in the town of Kufr Ruman. The raids extended to Chtaura in the Bekaa Valley, where a man died and his wife and son were critically injured following an attack on their apartment. The security source further reported that Israeli jets conducted multiple raids on the towns of Al-Tiri, Al-Mansouri, Safed Al-Battikh, Barashi, Aita Al-Shaab, Shebaa, and Majdal Selm, with the mosque in Majdal Selm being destroyed. The jets also overflew the cities of Tyre and Nabatieh, contributing to th e escalation of tensions in the region.
