Beirut: Israeli airstrikes targeted residential neighborhoods in Riyaq and Baalbek, causing significant damage to buildings and escalating regional tensions, according to reports on Tuesday. According to National News Agency-Lebanon, Israeli warplanes launched an attack on the Al-Jamia neighborhood in Riyaq. The airstrikes damaged multiple residential structures and heightened anxiety among local residents. In Baalbek, the airstrikes were more intense, with enemy raids hitting a building in the Al-Asira neighborhood with two missiles. The impact of these strikes resulted in considerable damage to several nearby buildings, further jeopardizing the safety and stability of the area. The town of Tamnine Al-Tahta also experienced airstrikes, contributing to the already tense atmosphere in the region. These attacks are part of a series of incidents that have contributed to rising tensions across the area.
