BEIRUT: Israeli warplanes conducted a series of airstrikes across southern Lebanon and the Hermel region on Wednesday, targeting several strategic locations. The attacks raised tensions in the area, although no injuries were reported. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the airstrikes began at around 1:00 pm local time when the town of Tebnin was bombed. The aerial offensive continued with enemy jets targeting the valley between Jebchit and Harouf around 2:30 pm, as well as Aita al-Shaab. Shortly before 3:00 pm, another strike hit Zawtar al-Gharbieh. In Marjeyoun, the town of Taybeh was subjected to Israeli air raids. Additionally, artillery fire from Israeli positions in occupied Palestine struck the areas of Sharabik and Ras al-Arid in the village of Yohmor al-Shaqif, near Tyre. Further north in the Hermel region, the outskirts of Zboud were targeted by Israeli airstrikes. Despite the breadth of the attacks, there have been no reports of casualties.
