NABLUS: Dozens of Israeli colonists attacked the Al-Yetmawi area near the town of Beita, south of Nablus, this evening, leading to confrontations with local youth. Local sources reported that colonists stormed the Al-Yetmawi area near Beita, which resulted in confrontations with young people from the town. No injuries have been reported from these confrontations. Beita has faced repeated attacks from Israeli occupation forces and colonists since the establishment of the Evyatar outpost on the lands of local residents at the summit of Mount Sabih near the town. Yesterday, Israeli forces killed Turkish-American activist Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, 26, during the weekly anti-settlement march held by residents of Beita. Her murder added to the toll of the 17 victims from the town who have been killed by Israeli forces and colonists since the establishment of the outpost in May 2021.
