ABU DHABI: The Make-A-Wish Foundation has successfully fulfilled the travel dreams of 26 children facing serious health challenges, granting them international trips between the start of the year and the end of September. This effort is part of the organization's ongoing mission to bring joy and hope to sick children and their families. According to Emirates News Agency, Hani Al-Zubaidi, CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, emphasized the transformative power of these travel experiences for children with chronic illnesses. He highlighted that such opportunities allow children to explore new cultures and partake in religious journeys such as Hajj and Umrah, offering them an escape from their daily routines and strengthening their emotional resilience. The foundation's travel initiatives included a diverse range of destinations: three wishes to perform Umrah, one for Hajj, and numerous visits to various Disneyland locations-eight to Paris, five to Orlando, and one to Tokyo. Additional destinations included Pari s, London, Switzerland, Thailand, Egypt, Dallas in the United States, Aqaba in Jordan, and Mauritius. Al-Zubaidi expressed gratitude towards the foundation's partners, donors, and supporters, acknowledging their role in making these wishes a reality. He reiterated the foundation's dedication to continuing its efforts to fulfill as many children's wishes as possible, underscoring the importance of hope and happiness in the lives of those most in need.
