Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, inaugurated the 'Emirates of Pearls and Aromas: A Deep-Rooted Legacy, Shaping the Future' exhibition at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. The event reflects the UAE's commitment to preserving its national cultural heritage and promoting it on a global scale.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Mansour toured the various sections of the exhibition, accompanied by senior officials. He was briefed on its displays and experiences, which highlight the UAE's civilisational roots and the cultural and economic significance of pearls, oud, and amber in the country's history and identity.

Sheikh Mansour emphasized the UAE's strategic location as a historical trade hub between East and West, facilitating cultural and commercial exchanges. This role has been a consistent feature due to the UAE's geographical position and its welcoming society. The exhibition showcases how the sea served as a major route for trade and communication, connecting the UAE with major civilizations in India, China, Iraq, and North Africa. Key sites like Dalma, Sir Bani Yas, and Umm Al Nar played pivotal roles in this historical narrative.
