Ministry of Information Praises Journalists’ Work, Warns Against Israeli Narratives

BEIRUT: The Ministry of Information has issued a statement acknowledging the efforts of journalists and photojournalists in covering the ongoing Israeli aggression, while cautioning them against falling prey to narratives propagated by the enemy. The Ministry called for continued professionalism, objectivity, and safety in their reporting. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Ministry underscored its trust in the "professionalism and national awareness" of media professionals. It advised them to remain vigilant against being influenced by guidance intended to direct journalists to specific locations or to draw attention to potential targets, which could compromise their objectivity and safety. The statement concluded with a reminder that the priority for journalists should remain on maintaining safety, objectivity, and professionalism as they continue to report on the situation.
