Abu dhabi: Omar Obaid Alhesan Alshamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received a copy of the credentials from Abdallahi Bah Nagi Kebd, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the UAE. Alshamsi welcomed the new ambassador and wished him success in his duties, emphasizing the UAE's commitment to strengthening and advancing relations with Mauritania across sectors of mutual interest.

According to Emirates News Agency, Abdallahi Bah Nagi Kebd expressed pride in representing Mauritania in the UAE. He praised the depth of bilateral relations between the countries, which continue to grow steadily across various areas of mutual interest. He highlighted that this progress is driven by a shared vision to expand cooperation in support of sustainable development and fulfill the aspirations of the two nations.
