Abu dhabi: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced the launch of the fourth edition of the Emirates Labour Market Award. This edition continues to align with innovation and excellence pathways, reflecting the UAE's strategic vision for a future economy that places a strong focus on community and family-centric values.
According to Emirates News Agency, the 2026 edition incorporates four main categories and various sub-categories. These include recognitions for Emirati Entrepreneurs, Leading Global Companies in the UAE, and Digital Transformation Drivers, among others. By focusing on these areas, the award aims to promote innovation and sustainability within the labour market. The award also honours individuals across different roles, emphasizing the importance of labour market competencies.
The Emirates Labour Market Award is the first of its kind in the country, celebrating leading private sector establishments and distinguished workers. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Chairman of the award's Supervisory Committee, highlighted the award's role in enhancing innovation and competitiveness. He reiterated that the award serves as a beacon of excellence and leadership, supported by its strategic approach and visionary patronage under Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The award aims to foster a culture focused on shaping the future economy by offering a platform for creativity and excellence. It also upholds governance standards that emphasize transparency and integrity, reflecting the UAE's leading role in global competitiveness indicators. Dr. Al Awar expressed confidence in this year's edition, anticipating inspiring participation from workers and private sector companies showcasing their achievements.
In its fourth edition, the award offers significant benefits for winners, including classification advantages and service discounts. Winning companies will receive MoHRE's Diamond tier customer service, which prioritizes their needs and offers premium support. Individual winners will receive cash prizes, with the first-place winner earning AED100,000. Interested parties can submit applications through the official website until 31st August 2026.
