Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, welcomed a delegation from the Inter-Parliamentary Union’s Parliamentary Friendship Committee with the Gulf States, led by Salvatore Caiata, President of the Committee and Member of the Italian Parliament, in Abu Dhabi.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing cooperation to support global stability and peaceful coexistence. Sheikh Nahyan highlighted that the human values foundational to the committee’s mission could be vital in achieving both regional and international stability. He reiterated the UAE’s commitment to supporting the committee’s initiatives across various fields.
Sheikh Nahyan also acknowledged the committee’s pivotal role in fostering dialogue and finding common ground to build a framework for constructive cooperation and to promote international peace and security. He praised the leadership of Salvatore Caiata in these efforts.
