Accra:Brent crude futures declined slightly by 14 cents, or 0.13%, to settle at $105.92 per barrel. In contrast, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures rose significantly by $2.88, or 3.03%, reaching $97.97 per barrel. The increase in WTI prices was bolstered by a notable drop in US crude oil inventories.
According to Emirates News Agency, the mixed results in oil prices were influenced by the potential easing of US restrictions on the "shadow fleet" of oil tankers and ongoing geopolitical risks in the Middle East.
Investors are closely monitoring these developments as they continue to affect market dynamics and influence oil prices.
