Abu Dhabi:Oil prices remained largely stable on Friday, with slight fluctuations observed in the trading of major benchmarks.
According to Emirates News Agency, Brent crude saw a minor dip of 3 cents, equivalent to 0.03 percent, bringing the price to $102.28 per barrel by 0350 GMT. Despite this small decrease, Brent was still on track for a weekly decline of approximately 2 percent, even after a significant rise of over $4 on Thursday.
In contrast, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude experienced a decrease of 19 cents, or 0.2 percent, settling at $92.68 per barrel. However, WTI was predicted to achieve a slight weekly increase of around 0.3 percent.
The previous session saw oil prices rise as Chinese refiners decided to halt oil product exports for the month of October.
