Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in a phone conversation with His Excellency Joo Manuel Louren§o, President of the Republic of Angola, to discuss cooperation between the UAE and Angola and explore ways to strengthen ties in support of development priorities and the shared goal of sustainable growth and prosperity.

According to Emirates News Agency, President Louren§o extended Eid Al-Adha greetings to His Highness, wishing him continued health and happiness. The conversation included discussions on a number of issues of mutual interest and an exchange of views on regional and global matters. The leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing cooperation between the UAE and African nations, particularly in the fields of development and economic partnership, with the aim of supporting stability, promoting sustainable economic growth, and helping realize the aspirations of their peoples.
