DOHA: Qatar has issued a strong condemnation following the entry of hundreds of Jewish settlers into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, an action carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. Doha described the incident as a violation of international law and an affront to the sentiments of Muslims globally. According to Jordan News Agency, the Qatari Foreign Ministry released a statement on Sunday evening expressing concern over the repeated Israeli actions that threaten the religious and historical significance of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The statement urged the international community to fulfill its moral and legal responsibilities concerning Jerusalem and its sacred sites. The Foreign Ministry reiterated Qatar's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and affirmed the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. Qatar continues to advocate for the unrestricted practice of religious rites and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Je rusalem as its capital.
