Ras Al Khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, emphasized the significance of economic and investment partnerships with strategic partners as essential for boosting economic growth, promoting sustainable development, and enhancing Ras Al Khaimah’s position as a premier destination for business success and corporate development.
According to Emirates News Agency, this statement was made during Sheikh Saud’s reception at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City, where he welcomed Sybille Pfaff, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, along with a delegation from the German-Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK). Senior officials from the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) were also present during the meeting.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Germany, particularly in areas of trade, investment, and innovation. Recent advancements in Ras Al Khaimah in sectors like infrastructure, industry, and investment growth were also discussed.
Future cooperation prospects between RAKEZ and the German-Emirati Council were explored, especially in facilitating German companies and enhancing collaborative initiatives. Discussions included the emirate’s thriving economic and investment climate, the region’s outlook for German companies, and strategies to bolster their operational landscape.
The meeting featured an exchange of ideas on business opportunities and development projects in the emirate, highlighting Ras Al Khaimah’s strategic assets, which include an attractive business environment, advanced infrastructure, and a key geographic location.
H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between RAKEZ and the AHK, aimed at creating a strategic partnership to support development goals and promote mutual growth.
The MoU was signed by Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of RAKEZ, and Dr. Martin Henkelmann, CEO of AHK. It outlines increased support for both new and existing members of the Council, as well as RAKEZ’s partner base, through joint initiatives focused on business growth, knowledge exchange, and international connectivity.
The MoU is part of ongoing efforts to solidify strategic cooperation and strengthen economic and industrial ties between Ras Al Khaimah and the German business community.
