Ras Al Khaimah Police Complete Security Preparations for Eid Al Adha

Sharjah: Ras Al Khaimah Police announced the completion of security and traffic preparations for the Eid Al Adha holiday. The plans are designed to address various potential security scenarios to ensure public safety and maintain smooth traffic flow during the festive period.

According to Emirates News Agency, Brigadier Ahmed Saeed Al Mansoori, Director General of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated that police patrols and specialised teams will be intensified across the emirate. The focus will be on areas such as Eid prayer grounds, abattoirs, markets, shopping centres, parks, beaches, and other crowded locations to ensure rapid response and effective traffic management.

Brigadier Al Mansoori issued a warning against the use of fireworks due to the risks they pose to public safety. He urged motorists to adhere to safe driving practices and avoid reckless driving, particularly in residential areas.

Families were also advised to closely monitor children in public spaces, on beaches, and when crossing roads. The public was encouraged to report emergencies by calling 999 and non-emergency incidents through 901, Brigadier Al Mansoori added.
