Ras al khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, welcomed Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yammahi, President of the Arab Parliament, and Sheikh Dr. Ammar bin Nasser Al Mualla, Director of the Arab Parliament Office in the UAE, at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City. They visited to extend their greetings to the RAK Ruler.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Saud was updated on the Arab Parliament’s initiatives to promote joint Arab action and strengthen cooperation and integration among Arab parliaments. These efforts aim to contribute to the stability, development, and prosperity of Arab nations.
The meeting also delved into the role of UAE educational attach©s in fostering academic and scientific collaboration between the UAE and other countries. Their support for Emirati students abroad in achieving academic excellence and innovation was highlighted as a key area of focus.
The discussions further explored topics of mutual interest, seeking ways to enhance cooperation in parliamentary and educational fields. This aligns with the UAE’s vision of human development and its efforts to bolster its standing in knowledge and innovation.
Al Yammahi and Sheikh Dr. Al Mulla expressed their appreciation to the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. They commended his development vision, support for joint Arab cooperation, and dedication to advancing education and innovation, which enhance the UAE’s regional and international position.
