Russeifa: The Russeifa Forum for Culture and Arts held a special poetry and art event on Monday, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza and their resistance against the occupation. The event featured a series of cultural activities aimed at supporting the Palestinian cause and highlighting the plight of those living under siege. According to Jordan News Agency, Mahmoud Al-Saleh, president of the Russeifa Forum, inaugurated the event at the National Islamic Party headquarters, emphasizing the importance of cultural efforts in bolstering the Palestinian struggle. The forum was moderated by Mahmoud Al-Hajj, who echoed the sentiments of solidarity and resistance. The event showcased works by poets Ahmed Khair, Rabab Al-Taji, and Raed Jibril. Their poems focused on themes central to Arab identity, the ongoing struggles in Gaza, the role of Jordan, and the Hashimite leadership. These performances were aimed at raising national morale and reaffirming the rights of the Palestinian people. The ev ening concluded with a striking art presentation by Alaa Shaher, who presented a patriotic piece inspired by Jordanian heritage along with a quintet dedicated to Palestine and its resistance in Gaza. This artistic expression served to highlight the cultural and historical ties between Jordan and Palestine, and the ongoing support for Palestinian sovereignty and resistance.
