BERUIT: A number of Lebanese citizens were killed and injured in ongoing Israeli airstrikes that targeted the southern suburb of Beirut, causing widespread destruction to buildings, facilities and infrastructure. The raids targeted several towns in southern Lebanon, resulting in the killing of several civilians and causing the injury of several others. The occupation's warplanes also bombed the surroundings of the towns of Sofar and Bhamdoun, and the outskirts of the town of Faqra in Mount Lebanon.
