Shakhboot Bin Nahyan Represents UAE at Maputo International Trade Fair in Mozambique

Maputo: On behalf of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, participated in the opening of the Maputo International Trade Fair (FACIM 2026) in the Republic of Mozambique. The UAE's involvement in the exhibition underscores its dedication to enhancing economic, trade, and investment ties with Mozambique and exploring new opportunities for collaboration between the two business communities.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan delivered opening remarks at the exhibition, highlighting the growing momentum in relations between the UAE and Mozambique. He emphasized the potential to deepen the trade and investment partnership, transforming it into tangible projects that offer long-term value for both nations.

During the visit, Sheikh Shakhboot met with Daniel Francisco Chapo, President of Mozambique, and conveyed greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Vice President His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. President Chapo reciprocated with his greetings and expressed his wishes for further development and prosperity for the UAE.

The meeting between the two leaders involved discussions on enhancing bilateral relations, particularly in the economic, trade, and investment sectors. They also explored the potential for expanding partnerships between the private sectors of both countries. Sheikh Shakhboot reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to strengthening its partnership with Mozambique and supporting the development of projects that advance mutual interests.
