Abu Dhabi:Sharjah Asset Management is organizing a breast cancer awareness event in collaboration with Pink Caravan, set to take place on October 9 at Souq Al Jubail from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. This event is part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiatives, also known as Pink October.

According to Emirates News Agency, the event will offer free breast cancer screening services, including clinical examinations and mammograms, conducted by a specialized medical team from Pink Caravan. In addition to screenings, the event will feature various awareness activities and educational sessions that emphasize the importance of prevention and regular screening.

Salim Al Midfa, Chief Officer - Corporate Communications and Customer Experience at Sharjah Asset Management, stated that supporting community health is a vital part of their social responsibility. He emphasized the significance of awareness and early detection in preventive healthcare. The collaboration with Pink Caravan aims to make these services easily accessible to the community, promoting regular screenings and fostering a culture of health awareness.

The initiative encourages women, especially those over 25, to take proactive measures for their health by utilizing the early detection services provided during the event.
