Sharjah: Sharjah Youth, an institution under the Sharjah Family and Community Council and part of Rubu' Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, is introducing an extensive array of specialised programmes and competitions as part of "Youth Spring 2026."
According to Emirates News Agency, this initiative underscores Sharjah Youth's ongoing commitment to enhancing the skills and capabilities of its members. The programmes offer an innovative blend of enjoyment and knowledge, providing a professional learning experience that aligns with the best practices in practical application.
The Youth Spring offerings focus on various tracks, including life skills, sports, science and technology, literature and languages, and art forms. Members are set to engage in the Rubu' Qarn centres' latest life skills programme, "My Profession." Running from April 25th to 30th, this programme provides a practical experience in designing, implementing, and producing garden chairs, adhering to top safety and quality standards.
To promote environmental awareness and sustainability, participants will join the "Sharjah Beekeepers" programme. This hands-on learning experience explores the world of beekeeping and its crucial role in ecological balance, all within a safe and interactive setting.
In the realm of sports, the 17th edition of the Sharjah Youth Futsal League will resume on April 25th. Hosted at the Kalba and Al Thameed Youth Centres under the slogan "Sportsmanship and Fair Play," the league aims to enhance young athletes' physical fitness in a competitive yet supportive environment, preparing them for future participation in sports clubs.
The Youth Spring programme features a mix of in-person and virtual interactions, catering to the diverse interests of participants. These programmes offer varied learning environments that encourage creativity and innovation. The fourth edition of the Youth eFootball Championship continues to provide a digital sporting experience, promoting healthy competition.
Virtual programmes include "Clay and Composition" for those interested in visual arts, offering a chance to develop skills in crafting sculptures. Additional programmes cover "Sculpture Art," mobile editing for filmmaking enthusiasts, and personal development courses focusing on self-improvement, discovering passions, and mastering social media platforms.
