SHARJAH: Mohammed Al Qaseer, Director of the Cultural Affairs Department at the Department of Culture, stated that the department, in cooperation with the Emirates Photography Society, organised the 'Light Lines' exhibition as part of the exhibitions accompanying the Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial, at the 06 Mall. He announced the participation of 25 artists in the exhibition, who photographed the exterior buildings in the emirate of Sharjah and the UAE, which contain Arabic calligraphy and Quranic verses in their design, so that the photographer can highlight the aesthetics of this pictorial painting. He added, in statements to "Sharjah 24", that the exhibition includes prizes for the winners of the first three places to create a spirit of competition among the participants, noting that the exhibitions accompanying the 11th edition of the Calligraphy Biennial will continue in several locations in the Emirate until 30th November.
