The police arrested a suspect allegedly responsible for injuring three people during a celebration at a parliamentary electoral campaign headquarters in Ma'an on September 13. The shooter, who was festive firing in the Adhruh area during the event, was apprehended after a raid by a security force, said the Public Security Directorate (PSD) on Wednesday. According to the PSD's media spokesperson, the suspect fired shots inside the headquarters before fleeing at the time. The PSD's follow-up committees, tasked with investigating incidents of festive firing during and after parliamentary elections, successfully tracked down the shooter.
