BUENOS AIRES: TRENDS Research and Advisory has officially opened its new office in Buenos Aires, marking a significant expansion into Argentina. This new establishment aims to foster stronger connections with local research entities and enhance academic and technological collaborations. The inauguration coincides with strategic research dialogues with top Argentine think tanks, including the notable Argentine Council for International Relations (CARI). According to Emirates News Agency, the establishment of TRENDS' new office in Buenos Aires is designed to facilitate deeper cooperation with Argentine academic and research institutions. The office will focus on areas such as academic research, strategic development, and technology, alongside exploring collaborative opportunities in training and research consultancy. Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, highlighted the importance of the Buenos Aires office in TRENDS' broader strategy to forge global research partnerships. He noted that the office woul d operate remotely and aims to serve as a vital platform for engagement with Argentine research and academic bodies on mutually beneficial projects. During the opening, TRENDS researchers engaged in a panel discussion with CARI, emphasizing the role of academic research in international relations and exploring possibilities for training, consultancy, and expertise exchange. Discussions also covered the implementation of joint research initiatives that would benefit both parties. A research partnership agreement was subsequently signed between TRENDS and CARI, marking a formal commitment to collaboration. The agreement, signed by Dr. Al-Ali and Dr. Paulo Botta, Director of the Middle East Committee at CARI, includes terms for expertise and information exchange, conducting training sessions, and joint consultancy projects. Dr. Botta stressed the importance of such collaborations in strengthening international ties and contributing to global research dialogues.
